latest work on Elrae

So here's some progress shots and the final look for Elrae. Unfortunately we had a tragic electronics failure, and Jim and I will be working over the next couple months to replace the circuit board.

She's AMAZING, Jon!!! I love her textures & colors, as well as the sea life on her base - all very cool. So sorry about the "meltdown" though... The creative process seems so full of setbacks sometimes! But we are constantly learning valuable lessons through it all... Good luck on the repairs!

wow she is gorgeous!!! I absolutely LOVE the lighting. It really makes her look like she is under water. Finally an update by the way. :o) Fabulous job on the details by the way.

I'm floored! She looks... Amazing in every way. Love the shell earrings and the slick, wet look. Actually, I love everything about it. You're awesome. ;)

remarkable! I love not only the raised pattern on the skin, but the delicate flecks of skin tone below them. The details of shell earrings, the kinetic whorls of the tentacles..! Looking over the archive, this is the first not-standing piece I've seen, and it's extremely successful at expressing flow through a substance.

I want that Jon..... soooo amazing! One of these days I'll have the money to commission a sculpture. That will be a happy day. Haha!
