Rylan
My latest sculpt: Rylan, the main character from my story. This sculpture turned out to be somewhat disappointing - not only due to a few mistakes I made that resulted in some firing problems (he cracked in a few places) But also I'm miffed that his expression and pose didn't turn out a more appealing. My meticulous detailing of his clothes doesn't really make up for the fact that his face is a little funny.

well, jon, i would have to agree with your own evaluation - but, wow!!! - the amazing work you achieved with the clothing is totally awesome! i love the leather jacket - its cool look & great detail. the pants are so realistic (how in the world did you get the great stitching affect?!?) - and those shoes! the shirt looks very "real" too, but it's kind of an unusual style... although i love the color. So I say, focus on the positive here - as long as you are doing some new things & making progress with your skills, then hooray for you! And I bet he looks even better in person than over the internet...
I love the clothing! It's amazing! As for the facial features, I really liked your other Rylan sculpture, but this guy seems leaner and meaner. Was he supposed to be?
Hey Home-e!!!
it's been a while....
...I really like the sculptures that you are doing with the CM-50...
I really need to try doing some sculpture stuff. Keep it up, I might have to e-mail you for some tips if i ever play around with maquettes.
Always impressive!!
